ENCORE has earned numerous awards and recognition as a result of the firms' ongoing world class service:

ENCORE has been named the 2001Small Business of the Year by the Montgomery County  Chamber of Commerce;

Finalist for the American Business Ethics Award; presented by the Virginia and D.C. Regional Chapters and National Headquarters of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Ms. Theresa Brown, President and CEO was honored with an award from the Minority Business and Professionals Network, Inc., as one of Fifty Influential Minorities in Business (June 2001).

ENCORE was honored by Montgomery County Executive Douglas Duncan as one of Montgomery County's Outstanding Corporate Citizens (April 1999).

ENCORE was awarded the African American Woman-Owned Business of the Year by the African American Business Council, Montgomery County, Maryland (November 1997).

Ms. Theresa Brown, President and CEO received a proclamation from Paris Glendening, Governor of the State of Maryland for the award as the African American Business Woman of the Year  (November 1997).
