GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): DCA is 11 miles from the hotel and it takes 30 minute to the hotel, depending upon traffic. Taxi fare is approximately $35.00. MetroRail: The Silver Spring Metro Station is approximately two (2) miles from the hotel. Metro fare is $2.35 during non-rush hour and $3.10 during rush hour. To travel by Metro, take the Blue line in the direction of Largo Town Center. Transfer to the Red line at Metro Station. Take the Red line in the direction of Glenmont and exit at the Silver Spring Metro Station. Walk North on Colesville Road, crossing the intersection of Colesville Road and Georgia Avenue. Continue North on Colesville Road. The hotel will be on the right hand side of the street, at the intersection of Colesville Road and Spring Street. Alternately, the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service in the Silver Spring area, including the Silver Spring Metro Station. The shuttle runs every eight (8) minutes, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Route maps are available upon request at the hotel Front Desk.
Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): BWI is 30 miles to/from the hotel and it takes 45 minutes to the hotel, depending upon traffic. Taxi fare is approximately $60.00.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): IAD is 30 miles to/from the hotel and it takes approximately 45 minutes to the hotel, depending upon traffic. Taxi fare is approximately $60.00.
SuperShuttle: As an alternative to a taxi, the SuperShuttle is a convenient less expensive door-to-door airport ground transportation option. The shuttle fare from DCA Airport to the Hilton Silver Spring is $26.00/one way ($9.00 for each additional person). From both BWI and IAD, it is $31.00/one way ($9.00 each additional person). You can also make arrangements for service at one of the SuperShuttle ticket counters located in the ground transportation area of each airport.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Reagan National Airport: Take George Washington Memorial Parkway North to I-495 in the direction of Maryland. At the I-495/I-270 split, continue on I-495. Take Exit 30B (Colesville Road). The hotel is 1-1/2 mile on the left hand side, at the intersection of Colesville Road and Spring Street.
